Logging in to the Hosting Australia client area lets you manage your services, view and pay invoices, open a support ticket, and reach cPanel and webmail. This guide covers the common reasons a login fails and what to check before you contact us.
Signing in
- Go to the client area login page: https://clients.hosting-australia.com/login
- Enter the email address and password for your Hosting Australia account.
- Click Login.
Your username is the email address used when the account was created. It is also the address we send invoices and service notices to. If you signed up using Facebook or Google, use the matching sign-in button instead of a password.
The password is not accepted
- Check that caps lock is off and that your keyboard is set to the language you expect.
- If your browser fills in an old password automatically, clear the field and type the current one.
- Use the password reset page and enter the email address on the account. The reset email can take a few minutes. Check the junk or spam folder and any other address that may be attached to the account.
- If the reset email never arrives, open a support ticket and tell us the email address on the account. Do not create a second account, because your services and invoices will not appear in it.
- If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you will also need the current code from your authenticator app. If you have lost access to that app, contact support rather than guessing codes.
- Several failed attempts in a row can temporarily block your internet address. Try another network, such as mobile data, and see our guide to unblocking your IP address.
The login page will not load
- Try a private or incognito window, or clear your browser cache and cookies: How to clear the cache and cookies in your web browser.
- Try a different browser or a different device.
- Check the Network Status page in the client area for a known outage or planned maintenance. If the client area itself will not load, wait a few minutes and try again.
- If you see a page load or connection interrupted error, see Page load or connection interrupted error when logging in.
Make sure you are using the right login
The client area, cPanel, webmail and your mail program each have their own sign-in.
- Your cPanel password is managed separately from your client area login. You can change it from the service details page: Change cPanel Password.
- Mailbox passwords are separate again. See Email Accounts - Changing password.
- If you cannot reach cPanel at all, see Accessing my cPanel.
If someone else needs access, add them as a contact on your account with their own login rather than sharing your password: Adding contacts to my Hosting Australia account. If a contact can sign in but cannot see a service, the permissions on that contact usually need adjusting.
What to send us
If you still cannot get in, open a ticket and include:
- The email address on the account.
- The exact wording of any error, or a screenshot.
- When the problem started and whether it happens on every device or only one.
- What you have already tried, such as a password reset or a different network.
Never send your password, a password reset link, or a two-factor code in a ticket. We do not need them to help you.
