- Select Product List on the Category Screen.
- Select "New".
- Enter in the details of the product:
º SKU - this is your product code. This is just for your personal reference.
º Name - Name of the product.
º Categories - Select the category you want this product to appear under.
º The Short Description is the description that appears on the category screen. Be brief!
º The Product Description is the proper place for all the technical details you think the customer needs to know.
- Add the price:
º The VAT-Id is simply the tax on the item. Select 10%.
º Select Australian Dollars in the box next to Product Price.
º Enter the product price after GST into the Gross Price box.
- Add an image:
º Select the Product Images tab.
º Click Browse, and look through your folders for the image you wish to add.
º When you're done, click Okay.
º Make sure "auto-create thumbnail" is enabled. (It doesn't matter how large the full image is, as the thumbnails all come out the same size.)
- Add Related Products:
º Select the Related Products tab.
º Type the name of the product you wish to add into the search bar.
º Select it - it should appear in the right-hand column.
º If you need to remove a product from the related products screen, just select it in the right-hand column and press the arrow.
