Resetting a cPanel password for an account via WHM

NOTE - this article is related to resellers, who have access to WHM. If you are a standard hosting client and wish to reset your cPanel password please see here

To reset a cPanel account password, via WHM. Please follow the below steps:

  1. Login to your reseller WHM service. (See here for info on how to do that)
  2. Once logged in, locate LIST ACCOUNTS from the left hand menu. Easiet way is to just search for list, shown below:



  3. On the list accounts page, search for the accounts page, search for the account you wish to reset. Then once located in the search page, click the + symbol next to the domain name. See below:



  4. Once the + has been clicked, you will see a number of options appear, simply enter the new cPanel password, remembering to keep it complex and then click on CHANGE.
