Managing my VPS (Start, Stop, Restart) Print

To manage your VPS, please access the client area and follow the below:

  1. Login to the client area. New clients will have details in the welcome email, or you can access via our homepage and the MY ACCOUNT link.
  2. Once logged in, choose SERVICES and then MY SERVICES from the primary menu.
  3. Locate the VPS server your wish to manage, and click to enter the management console.
  4. You will then be presented with a page showing the various options, including RESTART, STOP and START. See below example of the management console. (See below a brief explanation of each option).

Management Console Options

Start - Powers on your VPS if it is currently offline or in a stopped state.

Stop - Shuts down your VPS, powering it off completely.

Reboot - Performs a restart of your VPS, applying any pending changes or recovering from an unresponsive state.

Reinstallation - this section allows you to easily install applications, ISO images, operating systems and snapshots on your VPS. Important: reinstallations will wipe all existing data from the machine.

Backups - Grants the ability to view the list of existing 'Backups' of your server. (If enabled). Please remember that 'Backups' are assigned to a particular server and will be removed once the server is deleted. Note: There is a limit of a maximum of two backups per server. Once a new backup is created, the oldest one is automatically removed.

Console - Provides direct VNC-based access to your VPS via the browser, allowing you to manage the server even if SSH or network access is unavailable.

Graphs - The 'Graphs' section, shows generated graphs of the VPS instances 'Bandwidth' usage.
